Hear Scarlett Sing

Scarlett Johansson’s album of Tom Waits covers comes out pretty soon and you can listen to a tune from it right over here. It’s the title track called “Anywhere I Lay My Head” and it’s not really that bad at all. Actually, I kind of dig it. She’s no Zooey Deschanel or anything but it’s not bad nonetheless.

Think about that first sentence. Okay, Scarlett Johansson wants to make a record. Cool, can she sing? Okay, not bad. What do you want to record Scarlett? An album of Tom Waits covers? Okaaaaay…odd right?
