Weiland Rescues Other STP Members From Obscurity

Since I am mildly interested in seeing a reunited Stone Temple Pilots, I took a gander at them performing “Vaseline” on Jimmy Kimmel last night. They actually rocked out quite well. STP wasn’t a ground-breaking band or anything like that. They sounded like just about every other band trying to rip-off Pearl Jam and Nirvana in the mid-90s. However, Scott Weiland is so wheels off that it made them a bit more entertaining than, say, the Meat Puppets.
