I’ve been on a rant for the past few days without much to say unless it has ripped things. I looked back and read some things I wrote and I sure seem like a sourpuss. So, I wanted to write about something that I love deeply and I’m sure that many people enjoy: the Sonic Strawberry Limeade.
What you see is an actual picture of my strawberry limeade that is now 24 minutes old. Sometimes for lunch, I like to drive to Sonic, eat, then enjoy my strawberry limeade as I listen to sports talk radio…all by myself. It is very peaceful and relaxing and it is all due to the greatness of the strawberry limeade. Today, I had my chicken wrap and started to sip away my troubles and listen to some sports. Then I said to myself, “Hey, why not go back to the office and write about the strawberry limeade?”
After using my Google key on the Internet machine, I have yet to find an acceptable recipe to make a Sonic strawberry limeade at home. Sure, I see plenty of recipes that have strawberry and lime in them but that is incorrect. Everyone knows what Sonic puts in their strawberry limeade. That is, of course, strawberry, lime, ade, and awesome. What I am really looking for is someone from Sonic Corporate HQ, a car hop at Sonic, or one of those dudes in the awesome Sonic commercials to email me the recipe. I promise not to post it here or anything, I really just want to use it at home.
So what makes the Sonic strawberry limeade so awesome? There are so many things. One thing is the ice. I am not prone to eating ice cubes…unless they are in the crunched up ice cubes that happened to be covered in strawberry limeade. The second thing is that it’s made of bits of real strawberry…so you know it’s good. Actually, the strawberry chunks are the best part. Once the actual liquid is gone, does that mean the end of the strawberry limeade? Hell no. You can pick out all those strawberry chunks and continue your strawberry limeade taste explosion.
There are literally millions of reasons to love the Sonic strawberry limeade. Even if you don’t like strawberry, there are other flavors for you to choose from but why would you choose otherwise when the strawberry limeade is clearly the correct choice. So tonight, let’s all go out and get ourselves a Sonic strawberry limeade, go home, watch “The Office, and watch “Lost”. It’s tough to beat an evening like that.

MinuteMaid makes a limeade, made with real limes. We could make that, and add sliced macerated stawberries and real limes to it. YUM

ok so i drove about 50 miles to get to a sonics yesterday…had a strawberry limeade dreamt about it so drove back today…tore up the the ice after the drink and know in search for that recipe …let me know if you had any luck…

They are literally the best drink of all time. Sometimes when the drink is all gone, and you’re picking out the strawberries, you’ll get an ice piece wrapped in strawberry, and it’s awesome. The strawberry limeade chillers are pretty good too.

i work at sonic. all it is, is strawberries, lime juice and sprite. that simple.

I think sonic uses a blend of sprite, and frozen strawberryies..
I can taste the sprite, so I’m sure that’s it!
I’m going to try making one and see how it turns out
