Bo Diddley passed away today at the age of 79. He died of heart failure after battling a heart attack and a stroke in the past year.
Bo Diddley is seen here with his trusty rectangular Gretsch. He actually created that style of guitar…which leads me to ask why? There is no doubt that thousands upon thousands of A7s, D7s, and B7s have been rocked out on that bad boy. Actually, Bo Diddley didn’t really change chords much and most of his songs featured one to two chords and he just played them in that funky rhythm.
