A 30-year old man was threatened with arrest at London’s Heathrow Airport for wearing a t-shirt with a “Transformers” character on it. An airline security guard claimed that the gun that the character (Optimus Prime, seen here) was holding was offensive. The man changed his t-shirt and boarded but is now lodging a formal complaint.
The t-shirt is offensive…just not for the having a gun on it, like the airline employee believed. The fact that a 30-year old man is wearing a “Transformers” t-shirt is offensive by itself. Now, should poor taste keep someone from flying? Nah. However, a man wearing a Go-Bots t-shirt is complete acceptable. In fact, that man should be upgraded to first class at no charge since we all know that the Go-Bots were the far superior robots that change into vehicles.

Thank God he wasn’t wearing a Thundercats shirt, they may have shot him on sight.
