There is a famous story from the set of the Anthony Hopkins-Alec Baldwin movie, “The Edge”. The rumor is that Alec Baldwin grew a beard prior to filming & when he showed up for work, the producers asked him to shave off the beard. Well, the always classy Baldwin reportedly went ape-s***. He felt that his character would have a beard & the producers felt that he would be too unrecognizable.
Well, the new Barry Levinson-directed “What Just Happened?” is based on a book written by Art Linson…who produced “The Edge”. In this new movie, Robert DeNiro plays a producer that is struggling with his latest movie. IGN has a new clip from the movie which features DeNiro talking to the star of his movie, Bruce Willis, who is playing himself.
