There are hundreds of actors out there that you could call a character actor. Some of them, like Paul Giamatti, have gotten to be fairly well known. However, there are many more actors that many people only recognize when they see them. They are the actors that you say “he’s that guy from that one movie that played that one guy that hopped trains“. You know, stuff like that.
Well, after a phone call with my dad that originally was about planning my Honeymoon, we somehow got onto the subject of a cool character actor…please, don’t ask how it happened because not even I know. This got me to thinking about a game we could play…that is, if people want to leave comments, which I encourage. Think of this as the blind gossip item that you can read on Gawker…except without the drugs, sex, & lies. The game is “Guess That Character Actor”. So please take a guess…the winner will receive…umm…nothing. Just the admiration of the 600 people that visit this site a day.
Here are today’s clues for “Guess That Character Actor”:
- This actor played a rightie on a politically inclined hit TV show.
- This actor’s most famous movie role is one that, due to makeup & his whimpering voice, causes many people to not realize that it is him.
- This actor has provided a voice for a hit cartoon series for the past eleven years.

but it would be cool if he could still do voice work because I think he would dig doing a cartoon.
