What’s Up With The Broken Lizard Guys & Adam Duritz?

January 6, 2009 · 1 Comment

PhotobucketCall me shallow or dim-witted…but “Super Troopers” is brilliance. I’m not a big fan of “Club Dread” or “Beerfest” though. If it’s possible, those two movies are a little too stupid.

This interview with Jay Chandrasekhar and Paul Soter is chock-full of information. Here are the highlights:

A) They are working on a script for a “Super Troopers” sequel.
B) They are working on a Broken Lizard TV show and say it would have to be for HBO or Showtime.
C) They are going to produce a script that was given to them by Counting Crows lead singer Adam Duritz. The movie is called “Freeloaders” and is based on a group of people that lived in Duritz’s Hollywood mansion.

Cinematically Correct note: This is the rare story that allows me to write about two things I’m a fan of at once, Broken Lizard and the Counting Crows.
