Obviously, Sandler’s “Grown Ups” Is Going For Sophisticated Humor

How long into this trailer before your brain exploded? Me, it was when Rob Schneider (not funny) started kissing that old woman. That would never ever in any circumstance be funny. It’s flat out gross. If not then, perhaps you died a bit inside seeing Kevin James (not funny) slam into a tree while on a rope swing. Funny stuff eh?

So it must mean yet another Dennis Dugan-directed Adam Sandler (funny…sometimes) picture. This time, he has a whole mess of his pals in “Grown Ups”. There are even more than Sandler’s normal pack of overrated comedians…yes, I include Chris Rock in that mix. According to IMDB, we’ll be seeing Maria Bello (hot), Salma Hayek (hotter), Steve Buscemi (oddball), Gary Busey(crazy ass bastard), Maya Rudolph (why?), Tim Meadows (funny), Colin Quinn (awesomely funny), and the genius that is Norm MacDonald.
