Has Cinematically Correct Morphed Into A Mickey Rourke Fan Site?

We’ve become huge Mickey Rourke fans here, especially since he thanked his dogs on Sunday night. For a guy known for his short fuse and bad manners, there sure is an outpouring of love for the guy right now.

Here’s the trailer for “Killshot”, a John Madden-directed flick that was produced by Quentin Tarantino’s A Band Apart team. It’s based on an Elmore Leonard novel, which Tarantino is familiar with since “Jackie Brown” is loosely based on a Leonard book. it looks like Rourke plays a hit man in this one and his partner is Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who is turning into quite the character actor. It also has Thomas Jane, Diane Lane, Rosario Dawson…and Johnny Knoxville? It looks good and all but tell me it’s not funny to see “With Johnny Knoxville” pop up on the screen?

I never really thought much of Mickey Rourke, as a matter of fact I always thought he was kind of
a Douce bag. Then I saw his performance in the wrestler and I was moved profoundly by his incredible performance.
