Once Again, Cinematically Correct Has Scored Early Movie Screening Passes
It’s always fun to have a chance to go to movie screenings. First and foremost, it’s free. Also, you get to see movies way before their official release date and, in my case, I can review them for my tens of fans. I was fortunate enough to see “Slumdog Millionaire”, “Milk”, and “The Wrestler” well before their actual release dates.
While those are three great movies, the movie I will be seeing tonight has me more excited than those three combined. I will be seeing the Paul Rudd/Jason Segel tag-team of funny starring in “I Love You, Man”. The great news is that the cast, in addition to Rudd and Segel, is tremendous. Jon Favreau, Rashida Jones, Jamie Pressley, Andy Samberg, Thomas Lennon, and the great, great JK Simmons all have parts in this thing. The bad news? It’s from director John Hamburg…who is responsible for the uber-gross “Along Came Polly”. Of course, he did write “Meet The Parents”…but then he turned around and wrote “Meet The Fockers”. Yuck.
