Since When Did Being Hot Hold Back An Actress?

Don't Google Image "Jessica Biel" at work...it's borderline unsafe.

Don't Google Image "Jessica Biel" at work...it's borderline unsafe.

Mrs. Cinematically Correct emailed me an article about her nemesis, Jessica Biel. In this month’s Allure, Biel complains about being hot and how it’s jacked up her career. Apparently, she feels like it’s tough to be taken seriously as an actress if you are too attractive and Jessica admits it’s been tough on her.

You know what, I completely sympathize with Jessica. It’s definitely been tough on Scarlett Johannson, Kate Beckinsale, Nicole Kidman, Renee Zellweger, Amy Adams, Jennifer Garner, Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock, Cameron Diaz, Michele Pfeiffer, Rachel McAdams, Eva Mendes…

do you see where I’m going with this? I don’t want to be too mean, mostly because I think that Justin Timberlake is way talented and not a complete idiot so Biel must have a little more than just being a hot, but she would probably get better roles if she…you know…could act.

All you need to know is that her most recent movie, “Powder Blue”, went straight to DVD. This would be the movie in which she plays a stripper and takes her gear off. If that factor alone doesn’t get people into a theater…well…it must be one crap movie.

    Sandra Bullock? That’s funny.

Sandra may not be an “Oscar Caliber” actress, but she is very pretty. The fact that she’s pretty darn pretty doesn’t seem to hinder her acting gigs….as long as there is such a thing as the “romantic comedy” Mrs. Jesse James will always have a job.
Biel can shut her trap!! WhaaWhaaaWhaa..i’m too pretty to get movie roles….Kate Winslet is STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL. Enough said.
