Will Brad Pitt Save The Awful Looking “Sherlock Holmes”?

Pitt's best acting to date?

Pitt's best acting to date?

No, I don’t think that Brad Pitt’s Mickey from “Snatch” is his best acting. It’s still without a shadow of a doubt his crazed performance in “12 Monkeys”. No doubt about it.

The Mirror, which is the UK’s gossip rag, is reporting that Brad Pitt showed up on the set of Guy Ritchie’s “Sherlock Holmes” flick to film a small cameo role. The reason for Pitt? According to this story, the producers were steamed that Guy Ritchie’s movie didn’t feature Sherlock Holmes’ main villain, Dr. Moriarty, and they wanted him in. So Guy called up his old “Snatch” pal Brad and got him in as the villain.

The idea of Pitt as a bad guy, especially an old school type villain, is pretty intriguing. Adding Pitt’s villain to a Robert Downey Jr. good guy makes it hard to root for the good guy. These two will just try to out-charm each other for two hours. Don’t worry about charm overload though…Jude Law is around to guarantee maximum movie suckness.

Seriously, Jude Law totally sucks. Quick, name me five movies that he is in that don’t totally suck…”Closer”, “Road To Perdition”, “The Talented Mr. Ripley”…that’s it. The rest are just awful.

I am SO GLAD that someone else realizes how terrible Jude Law is. Am I the only one who thinks he looks like a serial killer? (He and Bradley Cooper should start a club.) That aside, Law has no range as an actor. He may have been in “Mr. Ripley,” but Matt Damon’s the reason the movie is remembered as good. Law’s time is so over. When will Hollywood wise up?

Jude Law does suck. But Enemy at The Gates is a damn good movie, and hes even good in it.
