Lucas & Spielberg Looking To Further Destroy Indiana Jones’ Legacy

Wasn’t it enough that a mere ten or fifteen minutes into “Indiana Jones & The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull”, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas completely trashed Indy by having him get into that fridge and get chucked thousands of yards while in it? Wasn’t it painful enough to watch Karen Allen obviously be confused enough to think she was playing the Joker with that stupid ass smile on her face? Didn’t it make you slink in your chair in embarrassment as you watched Cate Blanchett embarrass herself with that over-the-top ridiculous Russian accent? Finally…the motherf***ing swinging on vines scene.

It should have ended there. Everyone got together and tried really hard to make another Indiana Jones movie. It was worth a shot right? They missed. It’s okay. I’ve forgiven almost everyone involved. Harrison Ford, Spielberg, LeBouf…everyone except Lucas, that greedy little troll. It’s bad enough he found a way to make three new “Star Wars” movies that actually make me think less of the original three. No, he had to go and ruin his greatest creation, Indiana Jones, as well. Blasphemy. You will never get a pass sir. Never.

Now this. They are going to try again. Please, don’t do it. Just quit. Tell Harrison Ford to retire from acting and get his wife a sandwich or burger or something. Have LeBouf go make more dumbass movies with talking robots in them. Tell Spielberg that he is still capable of making a movie that actually matters. Anything…but this.

Haha nice rant man. You definitely share my unspeakable hatred for George Lucas and Shia Labeouf. If I see one fucking alien in the next Indiana Jones movies I’m going to burn down one of Speilberg’s mansions.

I was really hoping for Indiana Jones and The Ho Chi Minh trail. Something like that. Fucking asswipes.

Listen, I realize that Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull was kind of craptastic, and don’t get me started on the prequels. But I can already assure you that I would shell out another 7.50 to see whatever crap George Lucas makes. I mean yes, he is easily destroying his legacy as a filmaker with this shit, and when its bad- its bad. But when its good- it reminds you what movies are all about. Heck, anything Lucas makes has to be better than that awful War of the World Remake with Tom Cruise, or most of what tom cruise has made in the last 10 years.

George Lucas will be remembered as the king of the franchise. He’s never been a great filmmaker or a particularly good screen writer, he just knows how to make money. It’s sad but predictable. I hated the latest Indy yet I’ll probably go to the cinema to see another trashy spectacle which I’ll end up hating. Who’s the fool?

I thought “War Of The Worlds” was greatness…up until that ending. When the son pops out of the house, it inspires my gag reflex.
