Last Night In Nashville, Conan & Jack Laid It On Wax
There’s really no telling what I would have done to be a member of the 300 or so people that were treated to a Conan O’Brien & The Legally Prohibited Band last night in Nashville. Not only was it in Nashvegas, it was at Cinematically Correct Leader Jack White’s recording studio called Third Man Records. Thankfully, the performance was laid on analog tape and will put on record. That’s right people, vinyl. If there’s anything you should know about me, it’s that I’m obsessed with starting a legit, kickass vinyl collection.
So perhaps once the Conan vinyl hits the shelves of my local record store (ha…that’s funny), it will be my first step towards the vinyl collection. Well, a friend gave me a copy of Dinosaur Jr.’s “Bug” awhile back, so that will be my first one and Conan will be second.
Here are some shots of Conan sweating his ass off as he pours his heart and soul into that guitar. Also, this is some amateur video of Jack White introducing Conan and the band. If you are in any way a potential victim of motion sickness, do not watch this video. It makes “Cloverfield” look like a bad single camera sitcom.
