The Best Buy San Diego Heath Ledger Sale Controversy

On January 23rd, I posted a photo, which I sadly cannot credit to a person, from a Best Buy in San Diego, CA. It was the day after Heath Ledger’s death and this Best Buy put up the sign as an advertisement of Heath Ledger’s DVD’s. I encouraged people to not shop at that Best Buy location, which I am sure didn’t do much for their business. It’s not like I am Bill O’Reilly telling people to stop drinking French wine.

Oddly enough, that post received the following comment yesterday:

a best buy employee Says:

shut the hell up who gives a crap if he is dead or not he was just another washed up drug addict actor in which he probably deserved to die because of all the drugs. he shouldn’t have been doing drugs in the 1st place and don’t give me the bull “oh he was depressed” crap excuse. seriously get a grip and take your life out of the celebraty world and actualy get an education it’s a tuff world. and no one will listen to an idiot. people will still be going to best buy NO MATTER WHAT thats why comp usa, circut city and sams club are all going out of business as well as frys

Hold on! I am not obsessed with the celebraty world! I actualy do have an education! It’s not like a Bachelor’s Degree is easy to get…it can be quite tuff!

Congrats Best Buy. You have an employee that cannot spell and encourages advertising another human beings death. The funny thing is that the IP address that left that comment? Why, it’s 68.6.203.214…located in San Diego, CA.
