After being booed during several shows, the band has now canceled the remainder of their tour. The official reason is that members of the band and crew have the flu. Apparently, Canadians are just as vindictive as Americans when someone knocks their country. Of course, when non-Americans rip America, we have to just take it. Heck, we even support and buy stuff from those that openly bash the United States. It’s good to know that Canadians are doing at least one thing right. If you mess with them, they will boo your ass right out of their country.

That’s just a snippet of the insanity in this much talked about interview with Billy Bob Thornton’s band, The Boxmasters. It’s so unbelievably uncomfortable. Thornton gets pissed that the interviewer, Jian Ghomeshi, mentions in the intro that Thornton is an actor and is a creep about it for the next 15 minutes. The professionalism of Ghomeshi is brilliant and he deserves some serious props for fighting through it.
